🔍 Google's making it easier to access SEO data from one place

Good morning search marketers, now you can get to your speed data…speedier.

Google started rolling out the new Speed report in Search Console early yesterday morning. Now you can get speed info right in GSC without having to go into the PageSpeed tools. 

That was the news out of Mountain View yesterday, where Search Engine Land's Barry Schwartz joined about 200 webmasters, publishers, developers and SEOs at a Google Webmaster Conference to hear from engineers and talk search. That may fuel some of his discussions at SMX East in NYC next week. (I hope you'll join us.)

In case you missed it last week, Google released a WordPress plugin that pulls data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights and AdSense into a single dashboard experience in WordPress.

Tell your brand's story through video ad sequencing

"Creating a progression of short videos with a carefully targeted campaign on YouTube can set up your brand's success on the platform," explains SMX East speaker Brooke Osmundson of NordicClick Interactive. "If your goal is to tell your brand's story through a defined sequence of videos, make sure to place those videos in an order that makes sense for the user. I tend to start with a longer video on the first step and narrow users out based on views of the first video. From there, I tend to see more engagement throughout the rest of the video sequence.
