🔍 Podcast discovery innovation | Google Ads API

Good morning, search marketers, what's your favorite marketing podcast?

It should be easier to find now. Podcasting is booming, with more and more brands advertising on podcasts or creating their own branded audio content. (Spotify has now made three podcasting acquisitions.) A major challenge continues to be discovery. Google is hoping to change that with automatic podcast transcription that will make transcripts searchable. It could help brands stand out in a crowded field.

Google has added many new features to the Google Ads API. The first update since it came out of beta offers capabilities for campaigns, ads and reporting as well as more support for Hotel Ads and App campaigns. You'll need to update your client libraries to take advantage of the updates.

Lots more below, including a look at why voice search optimization should come naturally.

Settling is normal. If you make changes to your site, it is normal for your ranking to take some time to settle down John Mueller of Google said.

We know. Google does a good job at ignoring bad or spammy links, so Google doesn't want you to waste your time on it.
