🔍 Share remarketing lists across accounts in Microsoft Advertising

Good morning search marketers, are you managing multiple ad accounts?

Microsoft Advertising announced several updates around multi-account management yesterday that will give agencies and businesses managing multiple accounts more flexibility and capabilities.

First, all new users will start off with a manager account from the get go — no more having to set up a separate one down the road if you decide to add accounts. The hierarchies beta, which allows you to connect accounts and manager accounts in new ways, is now available to everyone via request. And the ability to share UET tags and remarketing audience lists across accounts is also now in open beta. You'll see the "Sharing" option under Audiences in the Shared Library as this rolls out fully over the next few weeks.

If video is a part of your content strategy, you'll want to check out the two new reports for video in GSC. The Video Appearances report will show you video-only clicks and impressions from the main Search results tab and Discover. The Video Enhancement report will show for sites that use structured data to annotate their videos. Here you'll be able to see any errors and warnings for your markup.

A lot of people have written off the benefits of websites for small businesses in recent years, arguing that Google My Business and other third-party destinations such as Facebook and Yelp have rendered them unnecessary. And yet, consumer research, recent investments and acquisitions point to the contrary conclusion, writes Search Engine Land's Greg Sterling. In just one example, Verizon is investing in its Yahoo Small Business platform and launched a new web design product for SMBs late last week. Though visibility and referrals from organic search and social may be shrinking, "websites are likely to remain the anchor of SMB digital marketing into the foreseeable future," predicts Greg.

Missing results in SERP even after using FAQ Schema?

"Google will only show a maximum of three FAQ results on the first page. If you're using FAQ Schema and ranking in the top 10 but your result isn't appearing on the first page, then it could be something unrelated," explains SEO consultant Brodie Clark. "A few possible scenarios include: 1) Google has decided to filter out your result because the query match isn't relevant enough with the content on your page; 2) The guidelines for implementation are being breached in some form (maybe your content is too promotional in nature); 3) There is a technical issue with your implementation. Use Google's Rich Results Test and Structured Data Testing Tool to troubleshoot."
