How consumer preferences for social media ads formats vary by country

When asked what type of social media ad are they most open to receiving, the most popular response was video (34%) followed by carousels (22%). The survey, conducted by Smartly.io, also found that messaging apps or chatbots were the least popular among consumers.

Why we care. These findings are a good reminder of why it's important to mix up your ad formats, particularly if you're advertising in multiple markets. And yet, we markets know that what consumers say they prefer is not always reflected in actual performance. "For optimal results, balance consumer preferences with platform usage habits to inform ad creatives," says Smartly.io.

Request indexing is gone but for how long?

Request indexing suspended for how long. Now that Google has officially suspended the request indexing feature, at least temporarily, when do you think it will return?  John Mueller from Google won't say exactly when, other than to note, "We said 'in the coming weeks' so I kinda doubt it'll be back next week."

Bing favicon updated. With Bing rebranding to Microsoft Bing, Bing Webmaster Tools also recently updated its favicon to the new Bing logo and will update its title tag.

Data-vocabulary status. Google technically ended support for data-vocabulary.org structured data but seems like Google is still picking it up for now. How long will it last? Mueller won't say.
