Have you ever used LinkedIn ads? Last time I tried, which I'll admit was maybe 6 or so years ago, I didn't see much success. As a paid advertising noob at the time, I chalked it up to my own inexperience with the platform. But it seems like even now, I'm not the only one struggling. LinkedIn announced last week that they've launched an on-demand learning hub to help marketers make the most of their LinkedIn Ads. LinkedIn Marketing Labs offers multiple courses like "Using LinkedIn's Ad Targeting," "Reporting and Analytics for LinkedIn Ads," and "Using LinkedIn for Lead Generation." In the announcement, Renee Lowe, Customer Marketing Manager at LinkedIn says that, when done correctly, LinkedIn advertising works: "Lead generation forms on LinkedIn drive 5X more conversions than landing pages and you're 6X more likely to convert audiences when they see both brand and acquisition messages on LinkedIn." Marketers with experience on the platform vary in their opinions on the effectiveness in practice. The courses offer both basic and intermediate levels and are free to advertisers. You can choose a customized learning path based on whether you run campaigns or plan media (or both). Read more here. |
