Have you seen 3D ads in Bing search results yet? We haven't (either), but they're out there to promote the Samsung S10 phone. Bing Ads, Samsung and Starcom agency Performics teamed up for the experimental desktop ad format. Users can rotate, zoom in and out and see product details in the ads, which expand to full-screen. Google Ads users, take a look under the Tools menu to see if the Budget Planner is showing up in your accounts. Rolling out now, the new Budget Planner forecasting tool shows how changes in spend might affect campaign performance. Forecasts are based on your campaign history and auction data. You can't use it for new campaign forecasting, but you might check it out to see how changes you've got in mind might play out in your existing campaigns.
"Privacy legislation is not anti-advertising," DuckDuckGo CEO Gabriel Weinberg told the Senate Judiciary during a hearing on online privacy regulation Tuesday in making a case for a return to a contextual advertising on the web. The anti-tracking search engine says its contextual ad model has been profitable since 2014.
