Microsoft is. LinkedIn is now tapping Bing search data for its interest targeting capability. LinkedIn interest-based audiences are now informed by the professional content users engage with on Bing. That means the data sharing between the Microsoft-owned search engine and B2B social network now goes both ways.
Amazon advertising keeps gaining steam, and with that comes an ecosystem of tools and services to support that growth. Teikametrics has incorporated hourly bidding optimization into its Flywheel "retail optimization platform" that takes into account advertisers' cost of goods sold data in addition to ads and transaction data.
The saga that is Google's antitrust troubles in the EU continues. The EU levied a $1.7 billion fine for "abusive" AdSense publisher contracts. That brings Google's antitrust fines by the EU to more than $9 billion. And there could be more coming.
